The main rationale behind the matchmaking events is to provide a platform for future cooperation among the EIT Health community concerning the upcoming Business Plan Call, but the Berlin edition went a step ahead. The fully packed agenda of matchmaking meetings, newbie sessions and coaching workshops kept the participants busy for three days. The event started with an introduction by Dr. On the same day, first-time participants were given the opportunity to present themselves and get themselves familiarized with the EIT Health network during the Newbie Session. The next two days primarily focused on the one-to-one partner meetings, enabling them to improve their project proposals, find the appropriate partner or join an exciting project, coupled with interesting workshops and networking opportunities. Between the time slots reserved for matchmaking sessions, participants also had the opportunity to be part of interesting workshops. The Plenary session on the third day was dedicated to the introduction of the EIT Health Sustainability Tool Kit and continued with the last matchmaking sessions, as well as group matchmaking sessions for the three pillars: Innovation, Accelerator and Campus. Overall, over representatives from EIT Health Partners, startups and external stakeholders took part in this impactful community networking event in Berlin.
